All students shall observe the rules and regulations laid down in the school calendar and also those that may be framed from time to time. All the parents are also required to familiarize themselves with these rules. Every student is therefore, deemed to have agreed to abide by the rules laid down in the school Calendar.

  • Indiscipline shall be strictly dealt with.
  • Regular attendance is strictly insisted upon. Each student is required to keep at least 75% of the attendance in each subject to appear for the examination. Under no circumstances, shall attendance be condoned.
  • Mobile telephones, MP3 and other electronic devices are banned in the school campus. Any device, if found, shall be, confiscated and the student will be fined.
  • Students are forbidden to bring motor vehicle into the school campus.    ,
Students are expected to dress in a very decent manner and shall strictly abide by the dress code on the school campus.
The selected candidates should pay the fees immediately in one installment after the interview or else admission shall lapse. Any difference in Government fees shall be collected at a later date. The fees, once paid, shall in no circumstances be refunded.
Admissions of candidates found to have given false information in the application shall be cancelled.
General Regulations
1. a) The working day is divided into two sessions. The morning session extends from 9.00 a.m. to 12.40 p.m. and the afternoon session from 1.30 p.m. to 4.15 p.m. Co-curricular Activities will be held on appointed days.
School Assembly is held daily.
b)The first warning bell for class is given 5 minutes before the commencement of the morning and the afternoon sessions; and the second bell at the hour fixed for commencement of class.
c)At the first bell before each session, pupils should go in silence to their respective classes and wait for the teacher.
d) Pupils are not expected to come before time for class; those who do so for approved reasons must proceed at once to their respective class-rooms and devote the time to study, or be reading in the library.
e) Pupils should not keep in their possession undue amount of money while in school.
2.    On the teacher’s arrival in the classroom, the pupils must stand till the teacher takes his seat. When the attendance roll is called, each one must rise and answer his name.
3.    a)    No pupil is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission of his teacher or until the class is dismissed.
b) In moving from one class room to another at the end of each period, care should be taken to do so as quickly as possible, and in silence. At the end of each session pupils may leave the classroom only when the teacher has gone out first.
4.    a)    Punctual and regular attendance is insisted upon. Leave of absence from school for attending marriages, functions, etc. must be applied in advance. The general terms of excuse, “for some business”, or “for some ceremony” are not acceptable.
b)    When a pupil has been absent from school for reasons not foreseen e.g. illness, he/she must, on returning to school, bring a note of excuse from his/her parent or guardian. If the absence exceed three days, notice must be forwarded to the Headmaster.
c)    Continued absence without leave note for a week shall be considered equivalent to the withdrawal of a pupil from School and his/her name shall be struck off the rolls.
d)    Special notice shall be taken on absence without leave note from an examination and after re-opening of classes after the holidays. In the case of illness, the submission of a medical certificate is a must.
e)    Absence without a valid leave note shall render the pupil liable to fine. Leave note should always be written in this calendar in the space provided.
5.    A pupil absent without leave during any one hour of either session of the day, shall be regarded as absent for half a day and serious notice will be taken of such absence.
6.    a)   A pupil marked ‘absent’ shall continue to be so marked until he/she produces an order from the Headmaster or other authority deputed for the purpose to be marked ‘present’.
b) If a pupil present for the forenoon session requires leave in the afternoon, he/she should get prior permission from the Headmaster.
7.    Irregular attendance, insubordination to teachers, habitual inattention to school work, obscenity in word or act etc. are sufficient reasons for the temporary or permanent dismissal of a pupil. Other offence such as coming late to class, damaging school property etc., are punishable.
8.    The School does not hold itself responsible for the conduct of the students outside its premises. In justice to itself however, it takes cognizance of any serious misconduct of its pupils committed outside its precincts and should any serious charge be fairly substantiated, the guilty will be punished according to the gravity of the offence.
9.    Progress card should be promptly signed by the parents / guardians and progress/ regress to be noted and accordingly guided at home in his / her studies.
10.    Pupils attending class or assembling within the school must wear the school uniform recommended by the Management.
11.    Every pupil must wish the members of the Staff on the occasion of his/her first meeting for the day.
12.    Books, magazines, newspapers etc., not approved by the Headmaster, may not be brought to the school. Comics must not be brought to the school and their reading is very much discouraged. Smoking and consumption of liquor in and outside the school is strictly prohibited.
13.    Books, umbrellas etc., should have a name or mark by which the owner can easily be known, and all stray or unclaimed property should be brought to the office of the Headmaster.
14.    Pupils must not join any clubs or societies or make any engagement that would interfere with their studies without Headmaster’s permission. They are not allowed to play in any team against the school.
15.    When prayers are said at the beginning and at the end of class, all must stand and pray respectfully.
16.    Letters officially addressed to the Headmaster should enclose reply postage
